Dunrobin

We escaped the Gran Fondo*  and left town the back of nine and headed north for the weekend.

Our first stop was Dunrobin Castle. I was slightly underwhelmed by the castle interior but the exterior, gardens and setting were stunning and we spent a most enjoyable afternoon pottering around.

We then retraced our steps to Tain and to  Arclight and Alfthomas's  whose guests we are for the weekend.

A enjoyable evening followed with a tasty meal, wine and chat.  It was lovely to see their place and the result of all the work in their garden.

A fun day beckons tomorrow.
