Sunset at Mesa Verde

Our first night on the road! We traveled from Santa Fe, NM to Mesa Verde, CO in approximately five hours. It was a good trip except for the 30 knot winds hitting the side of our 30' RV (shown here).

This was basic camping, no water, no electricity nor sewer. Worse, no internet. Even the adjacent latrine was closed for repairs.

At this campground, we were warned not to feed the animals. While there, deer walked past the front of the vehicle...not overly concerned about their safety among all of these people.

Soft sunset is beautiful, isn't it?
