Foothills Snow

A frosty morning and a brilliant day. Nevertheless the temperature reached only 6ºC. As I suspected yesterday the snow was covering the foothills, the low horizontal hills here. The peaks are Back and Otarama.

Another afternoon of extreme frustration. Not only have I lost the knack of sewing I've also forgotten the pitfalls. Worse still, I can't see stitches and I can't feel the thread or pins. Still, I'm determined to make up the fabrics I bought years ago into cosy winter house clothes. But I don't think I'll bother with zips again!
