Allotment Open Day

In some ways EK is like a village, albeit a large one...... we have a very large allotments society and each year they have an open day.  Today was it, and as usual we visited.  Sadly we had to go to a funeral in the morning, but we made it in the afternoon.  A fine time I had going up and down the various pathways and takingpictures as I went, also chatting to friends.... we are a friendly lot and quite a number of the allotment holders are walkers or country dancers.  I took a lot of photos so have made two collages.... as usual I cannot decide on the best.

We were very fortunate as although the weather forecast was not good, it remained dry all day.
