Solo Saturday breakfast with a book :-))

What a treat!

When I was a wee girl I always had my nose in a book - I was, and remain, very shortsighted - my Mum didn't allow me to read at the table... so, when I'm on my own I'm a wee devil and read away ;-))

I picked up the bookmark on my visit to the Natural History Museum in May.

The second photograph here won the photographer - Dmitry Kokh - the Adult Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2022 award - I prefer the one I chose, of course!

The book is an easy, fun read that my lovely neighbour S passed on to me - 'The Hound in the Corner' by Giles Waterfield. Funnily enough, it's set in a Museum :-))
