Huntingdon Old Bridge

Chester started the new National League North campaign with a trip to that famous northern outpost of Bishop's Stortford next to Stansted airport. Unfortunately they lost their long unbeaten away record of 21 games with a 2-0 defeat. They didn't play particularly well but it looked like it was going to finish 0-0 until two late goals.

On the way back we did a couple of adlab caches in Huntingdon and went to an Indian restaurant. When we went in we were told all the tables were booked before adding that former Prime Minister John Major was coming in but we could eat in a side room if we wanted. We took them up on this offer and ate there watched by four bodyguards. An unexpected end to the day.
