Wet Week

This morning, I remembered all the rain we had while I was in hospital, and checked the rain gauge: 33 millimetres or 12 inches of rain in the first five days of August. Very different from the last few summers.

P had wished for “Scottish weather” on his birthday, and he got it - with more showers and a mere 16 degrees C. 

The cats are starting to complain about getting wet every time they want to play in the garden. 

So this was and is an indoor day for all in this household. Only we humans will be going out for a meal later.
