A good day

Terri and I took our friend to the airport in Exeter today; she is off to Ireland to visit long lost family.
We then went to visit the NT house A la Ronde.  A fascinating place. In the second extra is some of their 'artwork' -  a frieze made of beautiful feathers.  They were very talented ladies.
After the visit to the house we popped down to Exmouth for a snack lunch and went to watch these two kite surfing on the river. It got a bit chilly in the wind in spite of the sunshine.
The one 'rider' was doing some great jumps.
We drove along the sea front people watching - quite a lot of folk on the beach, not that many in the sea, but wonderful to watch.
Eventually we came home to the great news that Hamish, grandson,  had taken part in another triathlon, and came in second!  I was delighted for him.
