A La Ronde, Lymstone

An 18th century, 16 sided house located near Lympstone, Exmouth, now cared for by the National Trust. Sue and I had dropped a friend off at Exeter Airport, and headed towards Exmouth. For quite a few years I would pass the turning to the house on my way to deliver to customers in Exmouth.

The house itself is undergoing some repair work, particularly to the shell tower. The Extra was the closest I could get to it  A facinating property well worth a visit if you are in the area. From there we popped into Exmouth which was busy with holiday  makers. What struck us both was how clean the town was. and even on a Sunday the was chap on a road sweeping machine keeping the road edges clean. A lovely day :-)
