Spain 2023, Day 13, Viguera

Today we headed up to a few places we could actually see from the balcony of our rental flat. Huge lumps of rock that  looked rather interesting. As our rest day had turned into a 10 mile plus wander around the city we headed out to investigate them.

The first place was called Clavijo and was the site of a ruined castle atop a huge lump of rock with expansive views out into Rioja.

The second visit was to these massive mounds of rock atop that were all over the area. A very picturesque village was perched in one of them with some nice small walks and great viewpoint.

For some reason some of my photos are just not displaying on the Blip website at all which is very odd.
