Blipped, as so many workday Blips, on the way home.

Hot today. 20°C on the way into work this morning and it got hotter. So much so that when I came home, I went straight into a very cool shower. First day this year for that.

I have a new book to read. Urmel Aus Dem Eis (Urmel out of the ice). This a very well known kids book here (although anecdotal evidence suggests more people have seen the film than read the book) and I'd never heard of it. It sounds a bit mad - there's a Housepig called Wutz, a shoe-billed stork called Schusch and a song-singing elephant seal. Oh and Urmel is a dinosaur.

It sounds great and a deal less pretentious than saying I'm reading Herman Hesse in the original...

Maybe I can make a fortune by producing the English translation.
