Catch 'em in the rye

Pokemon seem to have made a huge resurgence in the dunkyc household.

Fuelled by new friendships in the street, trades have been made, binders compared and collections fused. This evening after all the Pokemadness had died down a little, I was given a tutorial in “Battle Academy”.

I sat there asking what I thought were the right questions and nodding sagely, but in truth I had no flippin’ idea what was going on and lost my battle in record time.

The wee ones seem happy with it though and I guess that’s the main thing!
