A Roadie

Today our group of friends headed inland to the MacKenzie Country, namely Lakes Tekapo, Alexandrina and McGregor….among other places, many stops along the way,  many and varied photos taken along the way. 
We did find time for lunch, homemade pies and a box of fries from the local bakery with coffees.  
After visiting Lake Alexandrina and McGregors we took to the gravel roads and headed along the east side of Lake Tekapo, travelling through various high country stations (not railway stations I might add) to the end of the road to Lilybank Station.  That is where my blip was taken….there others in extra, plus a group photo, one friend couldn’t make it today, so just the four of us looking happy and wind blown (thanks Clare for the selfie) 
The sun shone, but the wind was perishing at times. 
 All are phone photos, I never got home until 7pm…..I’m too tired, and it’s too late to load from my camera.
A great day out, with special friends and in our slice of paradise.
