Village Inn

The humble village Inn has struggled to survive  in recent times. This one is in the lovely village of Sidbury in East Devon. I thought today when I walked past it, that a real effort had been made to make it cheery and welcoming. The lamps emitted a warm glow and there was plenty of colour. Apart from the shrubs and the yellow flowers I liked the bright, red postbox, the painted sign and the lion's head above the door, proudly wearing his golden crown!
