It's a madhouse....

It has felt like a very long day!! But a very fun one!  First thing we headed out for a bit of food shopping, got that all put away and then the fun started in the road with a long overdue waterleak being fixed - they were hoping it would be a simple and quick job.... didn't quite turn out that way!  ONe of them joked they were having to dig to Australia to fix the problem!

So all the water to the local neighbourhood had to be turned off for an hour - that didn't go down well with some! - and that happened just as we were getting lunch ready for my brother and his family who came over from Surrey for a visit!  

Then my nephew needed to head to Southend for some clothes shopping - not his favourite task - so we all set off just as it started to rain! Perfect seaside weather!!  My niece and I got bored of the clothes shopping so slunk off to Waterstones for our book fix! WE did behave though and didn't buy any!  After a couple of hours we headed back home, where Bailey the hooligan doggie proceeded to run round like a nutcase, destroying toys we'd got him - thankfully for free! - and cause mayhem! My sister in law kept saying he'd fall asleep as he normally has an afternoon nap - not today he didn't!!  Hopefully he'll sleep well tonight... like us all haha!

Fit for nothing now..... night all!!
