Carol's ramblings

Theatre trip

I had booked a few months ago, tickets to take the boys to see the play - Tales of Acorn Wood by Julia Donaldson - at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith.

Early start, got to the train station for the 8:30am train (fortunately the trains were running ok). Bracknell to Richmond, then the District line to Hammersmith. Quite a journey with a 6 year old and 3 year old - they were very good, held hands when they were asked to (London’s quite scary as an adult, eyes in all part of your head with little ones).

The boys (and mummy and nanny) enjoyed the show - extra gives the stage with some pre-show animals, and there was a catchy sing for all to sing (an ear worm type).

Back home, no change with Oscar, he has not eaten all day (or yesterday), had only had a wee at 7am this morning and not been out all day (took him out a couple of times but did not wee). Encouraged to drink, but hit and miss.
Update: he has had some chicken tonight, had a wee and drinking a bit more. Appointment with the vet tomorrow to have that difficult conversation.
