Chiropody appointment this morning …. as usual a painless visit. Jamie used to be a police dog trainer so we always enjoy a spot of canine chat while he cuts my nails.

Then it was a quick visit to Maxwell Park but the pond side greenery is so thick in some places that it is almost impossible to spot the birds. I did catch a brief glimpse of a tiny fluffy black ball that’s a Moorhen chick but as quickly as it appeared it was back among the reeds.
