Final track events

This evening was the end of the track events at the world championships. The atmosphere in the velodrome was fantastic. The photo shows Katie Archibald (bottom right) at the start of the women's elite omnium.  Unfortunately she finished just outside of the medal positions. The evening belonged to Emma Finucane who won gold in the women's elite sprint.
