Spur-winged plover

Busy this morning with back to back appointments. I thought there is no chance to make any picture for the day. But to the last appointment of the day, I find this spur-winged plover is incubating her eggs patiently in the car park, next to my car. Whatever nature calls, she’s not fussy where the nest should be. To her this must be a perfect spot but there’s no trees or any shades around. It’s open space. Anyway, only a mother knows best :)
