Rain was a blessing…

…for a change! M and I were so disappointed that our holiday visit to Slimbridge had to be abandoned due to continual rain. Because of that we cut our holiday short by a day and decided to drive home. M thought he was getting cold symptoms on the 5 hour drive back but to be sure he did a Covid test when we arrived home. It was positive and now, two days later I’ve got it too. He felt really poorly the next day, so we were so glad we were home and not still having to do that long drive.

Of course, now that we’re home, the weather is warm and sunny.

At least these African Daisies are looking cheerful.
