Scenes from Day One

Bits and pieces from the Grand Central Hotel, a stunning late 19th century railroad hotel in Glasgow City Center.  I’ll be staying here through Monday.  I met my wonderful friends Katherine and Martin at Mackintosh at the Willow tearoom for and early dinner on the rooftop terrace.  We first toured the excellent exhibit of Mackintosh’s groundbreaking architectural designs which includes this restaurant which opened first in 1903.  (Extra).
