The hopeful fisherman

A lovely day with hours of enjoyable fishing for Nick but although he saw lots of salmon jumping, they just ignored his hook. However, he still has four more days to go! 
My blip shows Nick at the junction of the River Feugh and the Dee. The Feugh is the largest tributary of the Dee and apparently 70% of the salmon coming upstream from the sea go up the Feugh.
Bertie and I sat on the lawn in the sunshine and had a very pleasant walk along the river in the afternoon. 
I’m still trying to get used to this life of luxury!
