A new day.

Statues in Reading.

There are lots of Statues in Reading. Today I noticed this one near the Forbury gardens. It depicts a soldier called Frederick William Owen Potts, rescuing a comrade in Gallipoli in 1915.  He was awarded the Victoria Cross for this act. It's worth stopping to look at if you're in Reading.
