Leigh Elephant hunting..

The Herd in the City Elephants are not only in Southend this year but in Leigh on Sea, so we went for a little wander there today! 

This one is outside the community centre and a pretty addition to the local scenery!  And while we were wandering around the shops we also spotted Mark Foster, former Olympic swimmer, and local lad! Difficult not to miss him really at 6 foot 6!

We also stopped at one of the many cafes in Leigh - they all seem to be thriving! - called Phabulous Cafe which employs people with additional needs and they run a wonderful place! The young lad who served us had the most amazing handwriting as he took down our order! Put our scribbles to shame!!
