Tillandsia Cyanea

Tillandsia Cyanea is its formal name  -  more popularly known as the Pink Quill or Fan Flower.  It is quite small and stands only about 8 inches tall.  It originates from Ecuador. Pam gave it to me when she came to visit recently.  I've blipped it today because it has began to produce little purple petals from its main fan-like flower  -  quite unexpected  -  looks like it may produce many more  -  watch this space:-))
