Portencross Thrift Pool Sunset

It had been a lovely afternoon and it was a dead cert that the usually spectacular sunset at Portencross would be absolutely glorious. The deep clefts in the rock next to the castle hold back large chunks of the Clyde as the tide goes out. These pools can create amazing reflective effects.
