Hydrangeas

in the West of Ireland

I caught the train from Dublin to Westport today and when we hit Athlone the sky darkened and the heavens opened. That was about 4.30pm and it has been lashing since then. I am over here for a few days to attend an event that really needs good weather. Hmmmm my fingers are crossed for tomorrow.

It was a lively bunch on the train. A group of likely lads were going to the Fleadh Cheoil in Mullingar. Got off in Athlone and being bussed from there. But they had started the party early

So instead of the misty mountains of Clew Bay, you have the hydrangea bush in the garden (I got soaked just taking one photo).
