Taking the plunge

Sam has his first competitive swimming gala this weekend and he is not happy. This has nothing to do with how well he might swim or even if he will win any of his heats. No, it has everything to do with the obligatory hat and t-shirt that we purchased this evening. He thinks the hat is itchy and silly and the T-shirt so big that he might as well be wearing a dress....
