Abundant summer

The next crop ready in the garden is the gooseberries. A red variety that is lovely and sweet.

More than 1kg of fruit from one bush. We ate a few as they were, and processed the rest with a little elderflower cordial to be frozen and used to make fruit fool or crumble over the coming weeks.
