Sunshine and showers

A whole day to work in the garden, and I got a lot done, until the rain came.

I listen to audible books and was absorbed listening to the end of 'Bel Canto' by Ann Patchett, an intriguing read though I was annoyed early on by the death of one of the characters through lack of insulin after 1 day, which I didn't believe, being a diabetic myself.

I find audible books are a good strategy to keep me going with the mundane jobs (and today was all about weeding), though my expensive nails have taken a hit and are even more dreadful than before..  

So pleased with the sunflowers that continue to thrive.
