From Fumay to Namur

Even before the beautiful summer day was over, it started to rain cats and dogs and it did that all night.  We left at a quarter past ten.  The rain had turned into drizzle and we hoped the weather gods would be kind to us.  The weather got better and better as the day progressed.
We cycled the last part of France and drank coffee at a patisserie in Givet.  Unfortunately, the baquette was already sold out.  You have to be early for that.

The landscape along the river Maas is different almost after every bend.  There are sometimes high rocks and then again a wide river valley.  And there is forest, lots and lots of forest.
Despite the late start we came to Namur.  I think we are still a little over 100 kilometers from home.
