On watch

Hot sunshine and I sat in the garden with Gyp , but got too hot and had to come in.

Tried to rest today so got nothing much done. I suppose that's what I should be doing, but I find it hard.

There's a pigeon which seems to hang around and I talk to it. Light grey and I'm calling it a dove. Comes down to drink from pond and then sits on wire keeping an eye on everything. Sometimes joined by another. Don't know if they're lovers or just squabbling friends.
