First Light This Morning……..

There was no frost this morning due to a cloudy night. So that made for a rather dark dawn sky which however, didn’t detract from the beauty of the river environs. We did have sunshine from time to time mainly in the afternoon. I visited friend Cathie for lunch. Homemade cottage pie. Cathie is a great cook. It was good to have a catch up. Then off into town where I returned a library book. One of the best books I’ve read for ages… “Miss Benson’s Beetle”. Written by Rachel Joyce… I highly recommend it.
