Sunflowers and soul

What a fine idea of Mo's, to visit the sunflower field on the Balgone Estate.  Through a crowd of half a million plants they've caved a tractor-shaped trail; not a maze, but pretty baffling at points. You could see where you were meant to be going, but not how to get there. 

Stella enjoyed the walk too...and the "dog ice-cream" from the café at Tyninghame. Never knew there were such things. 

In the evening, I headed into Edinburgh for the Candidates' gig at Brewhemia. A great night. In spite of being a bit under-rehearsed. it all went very well.
