Fancy Lunch Box

Today I brought my lunch to work in this pretty lunch box. I received it as a Mother's Day gift from my daughter a few years ago.

My mother has a quite large collection of metal lunch boxes, dating from these older ones, to school lunch boxes from the 70's. They represent many old TV shows from Mickey Mouse to Happy Days. We had a Memorial Day tradition when my children and nieces and nephews were young. They would each choose a favorite box and we would pack and take our picnic lunches across the lake to the State Park. Great memories!
