The End of a Legend

This legendary grapefruit tree has produced hundreds of kilos of fruit every year for us to enjoy and to sell. But it's time seems to have come with the root plate lifting off as you can see from the extreme lean it has.
Quite sad to see it go but we might just shift our veg garden to this spot since we might have some exciting building project going up where our veg garden is now ...
