What big toes you have

Just before we left Maryborough this morning, I photographed this Comb-crested Jacana apparently walking on water. This is their characteristic behaviour. Their very long toes enable them to spread their weight so they can walk easily across the surface of floating plants such as water lillies, feeding as they go. Wikipedia has more detail
