A buzzard over the house

I've noticed several buzzards flying over the woodlands in The Horns valley  which our garden backs onto. There is a steep slope dropping down from our rear fence to the Lime Brook, which is about fifty yards away and runs down towards the river Frome about four hundred yards away. 

The woodlands are spread all round the valleys on the steeper slopes  formed by the carboniferous limestone strata which are harder than the intermingling clay strata. Some of the woodlands have been shown  to be more than five hundred years old, as evidenced by indicator plant species, as found during surveys of ancient woodlands in the 1980s.

The wood are ideal places for the buzzards to live in and around. I think we have at least four in this valley, although they do venture far and wide. This buzzard looks to be rather old and has lost many feathers. It swooped quite low and circled over the house and back gardens before climbing and heading up the valley away from the town's housing.
