I was passed on a few poorly looking Cactus when I was away. I pulled them out of the standard soil and potted them on in to a specialist potting mix. 

I left this one out as it had so much scarring onit I thought it would be the end game. Its been laid in my room like this for a few weeks now.  

Last night I spotted new growth on the cactus, even though its not in any growing medium. So it must be okay to pot on despite the damage??
