Powis Castle

Today, Dad picked me up and we went to Powis Castle. It was a lovely sunny day and as the sun was making a rare appearance this year, it had drawn out the summer holiday crowds. The café was extremely busy and was full of pesky wasps. We really enjoyed wandering around the gardens which were still full of colour and looking spectacular. If you live locally and haven't been for a while, I'd definitely recommend a trip. 
After a cuppa at home, Dad left and I headed up town to return some purchases and buy some birthday presents.  Does everyone else have loads of family birthdays in August?
