Sunflowers

They are so pretty this year. Today was cooler. Took Frank to vet and groomer and got him washed and deshed Ed. The groomer fell in love with the old man-dog. Didn’t charge me for the deshedding. I’m sure it was his blue eyes. :—) He’s a charmer.
A week of bittersweet memories. Tomorrow is the anniversary of Jessica’s dad’s sudden tragic death. It was before she and Matt married but they were dating and she was here when it occurred. I took her home to Missouri that day. It’s been close to 20 years. Not sure exactly. And Saturday is Evangeline’s birthday. I just want this week to be over for Jessica. She is so strong but it’s heartbreaking to watch. So I pray.
