Pipes higher than a man

We bicycled to Sankila fields to have a closer look to those huge pipes that have been there for some time. They are part of the new wastewater treatment plant, that is being constructed.

Cleaned water will be brought to the Pyhäjärvi lake. The diameter of pipes is 2 m and they are connected to one 1,7 km long pipe. It will be placed to the bottom of the lake starting from Viinikanlahti bay.
