All smiles!

Gagan has been my student first in Zoom during the pandemic, then the following year in person (with a mask) and now already in kindergarten came to visit me. Wow! He’s grown so much and without his earrings and his long hair looks so different, so grown up!
I’m just a little sad because they decided to cut his hair and remove his earrings so his peers wouldn’t make fun of him, this was an important part of their culture and beliefs and mom always said that they would go to India to offer his hair to their gods as their custom is. I guess they couldn’t travel :-/
