In the pink

A full day today, starting with a hair cut, followed by a blood test, then a load of washing dried on the line in the sunshine and finally our tax returns completed as well, quite a bit earlier than last year. 

The garden has come back to life again with the second flush of roses, which have been looking stunning in the dappled sunshine. I did quite a bit of rose dead heading late this afternoon, and then went indoors to fetch my camera. This Pretty Lady bloom was just begging to be photographed, so how could I refuse her?
