that happened to me - today

i got a craving for - peanut butter cookies and - so i had to have them - out came the flour - butter, sugar, peanut butter, vanilla - the mixer and the cookie sheet - fortunately the ac was - already on to counter - the heat of the oven - on a hot summer day - i measured - i mixed - i baked

this is the result - it’s too bad the - smell of cookies cannot - waft through the screen - there’s something homey - and comforting and very - satisfying about baking - the whole process - is very soothing to me - actually more so than - the end result i think - but all of it - combined truly leads to…
