there's a wheelbarrow out in the back yard that has been there since i moved in - no idea if it belongs to my flat or not, but since i've never needed to push anything around the garden i've never touched it. and as far as i can see, no-one else who shares the garden has touched it either. inactivity makes for good rust patterns tho, you can see the layers of metal perfectly.

finally got round to clearing my desk (at home, i don't have one at work, i just borrow a seat when i go in) so you can now see the wood again. i also got round to taking the two bags of stuff to a charity shop that had stood in the hall since january (!) and chased up the last piece of paper i need to fill in my tax return. not a bad morning. work was indifferent but better than tues and information was forthcoming. i've had worse days!
