Out and About

Towards Old and New

I dragged Mr P out for a flattish walk ( while his heart is playing up) to explore a bit of the coast we've not visited before, where I knew there were some interesting blips to be had. We parked by the cafe at Half Moon Bay car park, very close to this statue of a ship which celebrates Morecambe Bay's maritime heritage.   One man is facing the very modern Heysham power station and harbour where ferries to the Isle of Man leave from. The other man is facing the very ancient chapel of St Patrick which has some very interesting old rock graves- see extra.
