My other next door neighbor told me that last Fall she had a pumpkin on her steps. This year she has pumpkin plants growing in front of her house. 

I was looking out to the back and saw someone small, fast, and dark run down the wall. We don't have lizards in Maryland. Tonight I put out an egg. Looking through videos, the fox has been visiting my garden, possibly to look for mice. 

Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian drone this morning. It hit a non-residential building, causing an explosion. Air traffic was briefly suspended. Drones keep getting into Moscow. 

The port of Novorossiysk, a Russian Black Sea port, had a massive fire. Wooden pallets caught fire. There were barrels of liquid fuel on them, so they caught fire. Who knows why?

Russian billionaires were sanctioned in hope that they would influence Putin and as punishment for any financial gains they might be getting from the war. One was Eugene Shvidler. He tried to overturn UK sanctions. He lost. The sanctions meant he couldn't keep his 113 meter long yacht seaworthy. His two private aircraft were grounded. You feel for him, don't you?
