The Joy of Finishing

I was Run Director at Parkrun today and, apart from M sustaining a shoulder injury encouraging a friend on whilst trying to negotiate a corner with dog in tow, it went smoothly with 120 participants enjoying the sunshine.  Afterwards, we retired to a local café with several others to chill and put back some energy in readiness for the walk home and much of the afternoon, after reporting M's injury, was spent processing photos.

I love the look of enjoyment on this parkrunner's face as he heads towards the finish line, whilst the folks in the background are going on their final lap around the park, chatting with each other and perfectly happy to take their time, enjoy their company and the lovely day.

Update on M:  Home from the hospital, dislocated shoulder relocated (oooh!)but he has already volunteered to help next Saturday.
