To help me find it

This is my Japanese gardening knife - a hori hori. I use it all of the time for weeding as it cuts through the soil. However it’s very easy to lose as it blends in with the soil.

I bought HtP another one for his birthday as he’d lost his. It’s probably in a compost bin somewhere. To help him I made a plait from some coloured raffia and today I’ve done the same for mine.

A tree surgeon came early this morning and he’s going to quote for grinding the stumps from last weekend and for pruning two of the trees.

Since then I’ve been gardening.

I’m now resting before cutting the grass.
